We hear over and over again that, “the youth are our future”. Well, if that is true then it is vitally important that the local church give due attention to the spiritual needs and development of its youth. AYM simply stands for AGAPE Youth Ministry. “Achti” (the German word for the number 8) is the name of AYM’s meetings every Saturday afternoon from 14:00-16:00. Our church’s youth have their own meeting room which is well-equipped with musical instruments and a great and positive atmosphere where youth can grow together in the things of God. The leaders over our youth ministry, Kristine Solis and Setsuri Solis, are both Bible School graduates with great hearts of compassion for our youth.

AGAPE Youth Ministry is for teenagers, ages 12-19.

Youth meetings are called “Acthi” meetings emphasizing eight points of covenant relationship with God. Achti meetings are held every other Saturday from 14:00-16:00 in the Youth Room at AGAPE in Schlieren.

(Achti does take a break of about 5 weeks each summer and one or two Saturdays break over Christmas-New Years so please check the church’s monthly calendar for up-to-date info.)
